Russo’s New York Pizzeria in Clearwater Celebrates One-Year Anniversary
December 6, 2017
Russo’s New York Pizzeria in Clearwater, Florida recently celebrated its one-year anniversary and gave away free pizza for a year to one lucky guest. Along with that exciting raffle, guests and customers also had the opportunity to enjoy food and wine specials along with the introduction of several new menu items.
In addition to celebrating one year in business, the restaurant, owned and operated by Mike Daner and his family, is recognizing a milestone in a regular partnership the restaurant has with Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches, which mentors and develops young men and women through several residential care facilities. The Daners have reached the $5,000 mark in donations made through “spirit nights” hosted by the restaurant where a certain percentage of proceeds are donated to the organization.
“Russo’s has been a great addition to our Donor Family, raising awareness and funds in support of our mission,” said Wayne Witczak, director of development at Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches. “They have used their business to give back to their community through unconditional support. We look forward to future possibilities and the positive impact they will continue to make on our children and agency.”
The Daners have plans to open five more locations in the area. The traditional and inviting restaurant features a full menu of authentic New York-style pizza and Italian dishes. The restaurant blends the freshness of fine ingredients with the magic created around a handcrafted Italian meal.
